gbo continues MES information days with summit meeting on the Zugspitze

Smart MES solution paves the way towards Industry 4.0 - gbo summit meeting on the Zugspitzegbo datacomp, a leading expert for comprehensive MES solutions, continues its successful series of events gbo MES Special Continue on the Zugspitze. The summit will take place on June 1, 2017. The focus is on the task “fit for Industry 4.0”. This meeting is the 4th event this year as part of the “gbo MES specials”, which primarily offers participants a practice-oriented program. “We know from experience that best practice examples are the best way to demonstrate how flexible MES solutions can increasing demands on quality assurance and cost efficiency fulfill,” begins Michael Möller, managing director of gbo datacomp. That is why the varied day's program is structured in such a way that future knowledge, visions and practical implementation examples complement each other. And of course, networking between participants is not neglected. “Here, too, we can draw on the experience that individual discussions are very important to participants. You network, share similar experiences and benefit from the knowledge of others,” explains Möller, who and his team will be fully present on the Zugspitze. With a view of the Alps, the gbo experts explain how existing technologies can be expanded into a modern software architecture with practical interface solutions and selected MES modules. In order to remain competitive as a manufacturing company, production processes must be comprehensively digitalized. This is where it is important to analyze the data in order to increase optimization potential and achieve maximum transparency. The gbo experts will demonstrate in practical presentations what requirements an MES must meet. The manufacturing processes of companies are very different and therefore an off-the-shelf MES is not sufficient to cover the respective requirements. A modular standard solution that is individually adapted makes the difference. At Zugspitze, gbo is therefore focusing on the modular approach. As already known from previous “gbo MES specials”, participants will have plenty of opportunity to exchange ideas with GBO professionals as well as with the other participants and thus gain new insights and perspectives.
