The medium-sized software house based in Odenwald has consistently focused on in-house training for years. Rimbach, July 29, 2020. Despite corona related effects, which do not pass by gbo datacomp without a trace, the medium-sized company based in Odenwald continues to rely on in-house training. “Overall, our balance sheet is impressive,” says managing director Michael Möller with certainty. On August 1, 2020, a new trainee starts in Rimbach. The young man was looking for a qualified training position in the IT sector and liked doing so close to home in Odenwald. “It was simply a very good fit,” says Möller with a smile. In cooperation with the Employment Agency, a qualification measure was recently successfully completed and a new employee was recruited.” For years, it has been important to us to train our own employees from the ground up. Young people are malleable, like to take up suggestions, and at the same time bring their own approaches and unconventional working methods to the workplace. This is how we fertilize each other,” emphasizes Möller, for whom the topic of training is a matter close to his heart. Education is a matter of give and take. “And only if we are prepared to invest in training young talent will we end up with employees who will move us forward as a company,” says Möller with a view to the 2020 training company award from IHK Darmstadt Rhein-Neckar together. In addition to in-house training, targeted continuing education and qualification measures are very important for Möller. Employees are required to choose them themselves. “It is important to us to turn young people into active, thoughtful employees. We can do this best if we ask them to think for themselves and make their own decisions right from the start. In addition, continuing education measures are always more successful when everyone involved is behind them,” concludes MES expert Möller.Photo caption: gbo datacomp becomes training company 2020 - Certificate from the Darmstadt Rhine Main Neckar Chamber of Industry and Commerce
