MES expert gbo datacomp has decided against the purely digital format of the Hannover Messe this year and canceled his participation. Augsburg, 30.03.2021 “Basically, the Hannover Messe This is a very important date for us and the week in Hanover is firmly anchored in the calendar. However, as the trade fair this year will take place purely digitally for well-known reasons, we have decided with a heavy heart not to participate,” begins Michael Möller, managing director of gbo Datacomp. The MES expert will focus on personal discussions during the exhibition days. “Our MES project business is a combination of professional and personal content. Assuming appropriate expertise, cooperation runs more smoothly and solutions can be implemented more successfully when the chemistry is right. And that is exactly what we take care of first step in Hanover“, explains Möller. And so will gbo datacomp this year, as well as already last year, consider alternative formats. In-house webinars and participation in selected discussion rounds are planned in order to stay in touch with the market. The webinars on selected topics in particular were very well received last year, because they involve initial technical information through purely sales discussions. When it comes to topics and dates, the software expert is based on experience from last year. By moving numerous activities to working from home, BiSoftMes received a strong tailwind last year. “Let's see what it will be like in 2021,” Möller summarizes.” Overall, we regret the cancellation of Hannover Messe. Until recently, we had hoped that a hybrid format would determine the trade fair and that we could meet at least some of our interlocutors in person on site. However, given current developments, this is not even possible. Safety and health clearly take precedence here,” concludes Möller, who has already firmly confirmed his participation in the trade fair in Hanover next year in the system and on the calendars.Photo caption: gbo datacomp at Digital Factory 2019
